azure vm cannot ping default gateway

machine binds a virtual switch to a physical NIC that is owned by the physical host, and the physical NIC is what is putting the packet on the wire.

It can ping the other two VMs, but it can't ping the host or the default gateway.
first vm is on vlan 8. second vm is on vlan 3. . Oh and setting the guest to 8.8.8.8 as its DNS doesn't help at all obviously since the router/default

I used Meraki Authentication,  and connect to the VPN, it prompts me for username and password, and it then connects - I get a IP that I would expect.

Tried to bring in another VM running from a VMware Server 2 (via converter), also cannot connect to the network outside the host. Inside of Azure, I deployed the Meraki vMX100 to a VNET 10.140.1.0/24 with a SUBNET of the same (10.140.1.0/24), My client VPN on the Meraki Dashboard for the vMX100 is 10.140.2.0/24, With this config, I could ping my device from a server in azure, but I could not ping the server in azure from my device connected to the VPN, Therefore, in Azure, under the same VNET i created , I added an additional Address Space (it give you the option under the VNET Address space to do this) of my client VPN 10.140.2.0/24.

I've created a brand new VM and it gets the exact same behavior. .

First off - I have searched the entire breadth of the internet to try spot if I am missing something, but I just cannot find it - I also have a case open with Meraki which has been open for sometime without resolution.

. You may need to disable the Firewall on the DLR, http://www.routetocloud.com/2014/06/nsx-distributed-logical-router/#DLR_Control_VM_Firewall. Problem Statement: The VM's are unable to ping their gateway (LIF on DLR) however they are able to communicate with each other.

We have NSX 6.2 setup in our lab and the setup details are as follows, Global Transport Zone spanned to both clusters, Management Transport Zone which is also spanned to both clusters, 2 Logical Switches - WEB (Global Transport Zone in Unicast Mode), TRANSIT(Management Transport Zone in Unicast Mode), DLR - with one uplink to Transit Switch and One Internal Link to WEB switch, EDGE - with One Uplink to Management VDS and one internal Link connected to Transit Switch. nvspbind isn't helping, or at least I'm not seeing anything that I should delete there. The VM guests can ping each other but they can't ping not the Hyper-V host server or even the router/default gateway. handle VM traffic, don't suppose either of you have a good guide on this? .

. To see if a switch supports VM traffic or not. We aren't using DFW and as suggested I will try to have only one transport zone and try.
