BandTogether - St. Louis' LGBTA Band and Colorguard since 1997. Each person brings a unique community perspective and a set of skills that will help us to achieve our goals in 2020 and beyond.... Want to get involved with Band Together? Our mission: to encourage families to make music together. Band Together produces the largest annual philanthropic concert in the Southeast. We have watched, we have listened, we have learned and will continue to do so. The virtual event, a partnership between the City of Gig Harbor, Uptown Gig Harbor, and the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation (GGHF), hopes to bring attention to our community’s needs and spirit and help all find a way to give back. Band Together is inspiration and education, a way for families to learn about music together, and a tool that parents can use to encourage and enable their children to explore music and music-making in all of its aspects. BandTogether is a volunteer music organization in the greater St. Louis area, open to performers of all abilities, providing musical opportunities to members of the GLBTA community in a safe and relaxed setting.
