connection to microsoft exchange has been lost office 365

I've had a continous ping to outlook.office365.com running throughout one of the drops and it responds all the time...in all honesty it looks and feels like a timeout, logging out of the Citrix session and back in will typically restore the connection.

Connection to Microsoft Exchange has been lost. 365 forum or get the Office 365 support with the link Andy gave to you.

If the issue persists with the correct Outlook settings, please go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles to create new profile and reconfigure your Exchange account to have a try.
I have Office 365 as a subscription. You mentioned Citrix - are you in online mode or cached exchange. I'm not surprised you are seeing issues if they can't be in cache mode. MS won’t support you at all if you try and log a support ticket so you need to address that first. To enable RPC encryption in Outlook 2007, follow these steps: Download the latest version of Outlk12.adm group policy template and add it to your domain controller. http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/160/p/51784/185234.aspx#185234, http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/146/p/15275/70314.aspx#70314, http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/160/p/65129/250184.aspx. 3. This only happens on one person in the field out of 85 users. A few years ago i remember fixing this by disabling ipv6 so i've done this on one of the servers and i've had a Citrix session open all day running the Outlook client and haven't seen a single drop, so maybe that's fixed it? Hi, does anyone have any experience troubleshooting this?

As you are using Microsoft Exchange, there is a separate team to handle this issue. However i've also had a session logged into the other server with ipv6 still enabled and that hasn't dropped either, so it's inconclusive, with no users working the weekend to complain about it. If you need further assistance, get back to us. If you are using online mode - again this is not supported. Microsoft have an API you can hook in to for when changes are made, if you can you need to leverage that. Thank you for getting in touch with Microsoft Community. If you have any of the enterprise plans you get the FSLogix container included in the license so you need to be leveraging that with local storage for OSTs, Source: Am Microsoft tech for a large CSP, Using online at the minute, will check out the fxlogix stuff to handle ost files, I've always thought they were a bit of a no-no with terminal services but a lot of 365 stuff is new to ME, sadly, EOL is being addressed soonish but as a troubleshooting step here it's a bit of a non starter (the entire Citrix farm is being rebuilt this year, just need to keep it ticking over until we kick off the rebuild...). Anyway,I have searched on the internet and found some similar issues in office 365 forum just for your reference. Run the Microsoft exchange connectivity troubleshooter.
Close. This is the 2nd day of this problem. This thread is locked. I believe this covers o365 too. Outlook will restore the connection when possible.
