Applications will be accepted from riders who are in their 16th year riding ponies, and have achieved a minimum 4 double clears 1.10m, one of which must have been Table A7 on their ponies. Students on the Motorsport UK Academy will graduate with a Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) and the winners have been awarded tickets to the 2021 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The Motorsport UK Academy, together with Loughborough College, have developed a bespoke two-year sporting excellence and motor vehicle education course designed to support talented drivers/co-drivers through both the sporting and academic pathway. The programme reflects the broad range of skills, knowledge and performance required by elite level riders.
This includes a leadership and physical activity programme to develop young leaders and inspire children and a School Sport internship programme where interns work in Primary Schools to increase activity levels and provide sports coaching.
