It was not crowded. This is my favorite place to come to to celebrate special occasions. This is the second time we have been here this year to celebrate a birthday and we have been impressed each time. Thanks! Sun-Thurs 11am-9pm We took my father for Father’s Day brunch. I am familiar with indirect lighting, but I wonder how patrons see anything once the sun goes down. She close paid attention to us. Food portions were good but I think my brasserie chicken was cut with the grain. Mary Ann was not there to serve us but Darya was and she did a fabulous job.
We will certainly return.
Earlier in the week we had a problem with 2 meals coming out, which was fine but would have expected them to offer something, but they did not.

Food was as good as usual.
Rock solid attention to detail and consistent high quality food served in an upscale setting with consistently excellent service. Our food took over 40 minutes to come. Sun-Thurs: 11am-9pm

We're pleased to announce plans for our newest J. Alexander’s/Grill restaurant.
Our server Breanna was great, even the manager Brittany stopped by for a chat. We ordered the Richmond Ribeye with a side salad (huge) and their white vinaigrette dressing- delicious and a side of their Mac n cheese which was fabulous. in bold print. We sampled some appetizers which were tasty; a creamy vegetable soup with pasta and the deviled eggs. I never did get my drink. Staff opened the doors for us.

Once I found the restaurant, a pre Mother's Day lunch was enjoyable, made more so by our server. Renee was our server and she did an excellent job.
We were a bit disappointed in the food quality. I would certainly return to this restaurant would certainly other patron would enjoy as well. Leftovers were not edible. Except for a few bones it was perfect. Lyndhurst Grill by J. Alexander's Menu The menu in each restaurant includes a varied and rotating selection of features like Seafood Czarina, Tuscan Steak, Grilled Fish with Mango Papaya Salsa and Chicken Milanese. I felt special.
All three of us were very full. The carrot cake wasn't good that I received for my birthday.. Our delicious dinners were followed by a surprise piece of their famous carrot cake that was large enough for the 4 of us to share.
Ahi tuna salad tasted like the tuna was not fresh. Server was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
