When you say connection issues do you mean Outlook randomly dropping the connection to 365 until you quit and restart Outlook? (https://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/news.php?id=8137).
There is nothing wrong with IPv6. A reboot, temporarily disabling IPv6, or connecting to the WiFi network (instead of ethernet) generally solves the issue for a short time and then it happens again.
